In my humble experience as a wedding photographer, brides with a shot list are rarely pleased afterwards when comparing their results compared to a wedding where the photographer was more attuned to the couple and the events occurring around them rather than the list he was carrying in his pocket and checking off each time a fullfillment was achieved.
