BEN AND KATHY GOT MARRIED!
It was truly a dream elopement for Kathy Howell and Ben Harrell as they said their ‘I do’s’ this past weekend on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Ben Harrell and Kathy Howell, of Bainbridge, GA exchanged vows at 4pm on Saturday, February 19, 2011 atop the double stair entrance to the magnificent vacation home of Ben’s brother, Rudy Harrell on Ocean Road. I truly enjoyed officiating in the double ring ceremony for these two as they spoke their vows of love to each other.
Kathy Howell’s daughter, Katie stood alongside her mom, as did Ben Harrell’s son, Benjamin, as their parents committed their lives to each other under the massive live oaks with their hanging moss, adorning the trees like lace. White bows were hung at the bottom and top of the ornate handrail above the beautiful landscaped yard and pool.
The bride was beautiful in her gown of white floor length chiffon with v neck bodice, satin waist and jeweled adornment. She carried a round tight bouquet of white and off white seasonal flowers and red roses to match the groom’s red rose boutonniere, both by The Flower Basket.
The photographer, Jeannie Reeves, of Jeannie Reeves Photography arrived early to capture the bride, Kathy, as she prepared for her wedding in the third level floor of the home. The groom, Ben, waited patiently for his bride on the main floor before taking his place at the entranceway of the home. They both stood in front of the beautiful arched door and entrance made of distressed wood and glass panels to be married. Many stunning images of the couple were captured before, during, and after the ceremony. These beautiful images will give many wonderful memories of their destination elopement to St. Simons Island.
Please check out these adorable images of Kathy and Ben’s elopement! It was romantic and beautiful and just perfect for a couple in love. I enjoyed meeting Kathy and Ben and learning about their lives back in Bainbridge, GA and especially enjoyed seeing their elopement plans come together flawlessly! Congratulations Kathy and Ben!
