I Will Always Be Yours | St. Simons Island Destination Wedding Planner

The caterers were setting up in the A.W. Jones Heritage Center and wedding chairs were placed side by side in even rows in front of the St. Simons Island Gazebo as Gina Eskey slipped into her wedding gown with help from her mom, Mary, and her 2 bridesmaids.  The day had finally arrived!

Gina Eskey and Shannon Fulcher were married at 5:30pm on June 24, 2011 at the St. Simons Island Lighthouse/Gazebo on St. Simons Island, GA.  Their closest friends and relatives came from Nebraska and other surrounding states to witness this momentous occasion and to meet all new family members.

The wedding began right on time as the groom, Shannon, and his groomsmen followed the wedding officiant (me) to take our places at the Gazebo entrance and steps.  The bridesmaids began the procession down the cement walkway from the Lighthouse to the Gazebo and took their places, as well.

Gina was absolutely stunning as she and her Dad, Mike Eskey, paused and then proceeded down the aisle.  Her wedding gown was a full length a-line with a v-neck bodice made of taffeta and satin.  She wore a tulle netting veil.  Her bouquet was of seasonal flowers, including lilies and orchids which matched the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen ties.  Truly beautiful!

She was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Mike Eskey of St. Simons Island, GA before taking the hand of her groom.  Shannon and Gina repeated their vows, exchanged their rings, and promised to love each other forever.  I pronounced them husband and wife and after they kissed, they turned toward their guests to receive cheers from everyone there.  It was the happiest day of their lives….I’m absolutely sure about that.

“I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I’ve ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, every day we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours.”
