Andrea and Ramon Eloped | Jekyll Island Wedding Officiant

It threatened rain all day on Jekyll Island, GA, but held off just long enough for Andrea Denegal and Ramon Jackson to be married in a beautiful beach ceremony at 5pm on Driftwood Beach.  The driftwood trees and the Atlantic Ocean were the backdrop, as well as the St. Simons Island Lighthouse in the distance.

Ramon and Andrea met 20 years ago and reconnected in 2012.  Who knew they would be married just 2 short years later?  They have 3 teenage girls…Jasmine belongs to Ramon and Danielle and Asyiah belong to Andrea.

The girls participated in the ceremony by taking vows of their own, of love, respect, and honesty to their new step parent, while each step parent vowed to do the same.  Ramon and Andrea said their vows of marriage and commitment to each other between heartfelt tears as they looked into each other’s eyes.  Ramon wiped the tears from Andrea’s cheeks as she spoke her vows to him.

Raindrops began to fall lightly as the wedding rings were exchanged.  The rings were placed on their fingers as a token and pledge of their faith and love to each other.  A prayer was then said for blessings on this sweet loving couple and their life together.

At last, and before the rain picked up, they were pronounced husband and wife and Ramon kissed his beautiful bride!  The girls all cheered as they were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Jackson!

I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I’ve ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, everyday we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours. – The Notebook
