Dreams Come True On Cumberland Island | Cumberland Island Wedding Planner

A dream came true today for Jessica Doane as she married the love of her life, Shawn Jeffery on beautiful Cumberland Island, Georgia. They were married in the First African Baptist Church located at the north end of the island. The First African Baptist Church was established in 1893 and then rebuilt in the 1930’s. It was the site of the September 1996 wedding of John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.

The weather was perfect for an island wedding and when the clock struck 6pm, it was as though the day had been chosen right from a story book. Chad was his usual calm and laid back self while Kendra made sure everything was in order. Her father, Ken Lowery, gave her away to the man of her dreams and they held each other’s hands and gazed intently into each other’s eyes as they said their vows.
